Preview (movie): Halo

The bestselling franchise of all time is now becoming a movie! YAAAAAYYY!!!!! Not much info has been released yet, but this is the main squeeze.
They have cast Denzel Washington for the part of Master Chief. He was great in Remember the Titans (as Coach Herman Boone). As for his 30-something other movies, I have nooooooooooo clue. He better be good.
Microsoft paid Alex Garland (Beach and The Tesseract[novels]) $1 million to write a script for the movie, then they later sold it to Universal for $10 million. I applaud you, Microsoft! Kudos! And rumor is, there not even going to use Garland's script! Instead, they have D.B. Weiss (Author of 2003 bestseller Lucky Wander Boy) working on a new script. And if thats not enough, he's co-writing the script for Orson Scott Card's work of fiction Ender's Game.
Now, this is the best part. The executive producer first name is Peter. Last name? Guess. Here's a hint. King Kong. Any guesses? What's that you say? Peter Jackson? You got it! Peter Jackson, on of today's most accomplished directors (King Kong, the Lord of the Rings) is Excec. Producing the Halo movie! Yay!
To make sure the Halo movie gives the full Halo experience, the ENTIRE Bungie team will be supervising the production of the movie while they develop Halo 3. They will hopefully make sure this film is a must-see chart-topper, when its released. IN 2008.
